I could not believe it when I heard in the news today that the trial for the Concorde crash of June 2000 was starting today.
I didn't realise this hadn't already taken place but it seems with initial investigations to establish the piece of metal on the runway had contributed towards the incident took until December 2004, it seems only further investigations have taken place since on both sides to prove or disprove the claims so it has taken til now to go to trial.
I hope they get the final result as many families I'm sure would like to know the real reason behind their loss of a loved one but with the trial expected to last 4 months it's still quite a wait for the truth.
