We recently ran a campaign promoting the multiple languages that we now offer here at Tarpon. We are able to offer expert help in English, French, Polish, Latvian, Russian, Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu and Greek.

I have always regretted not paying more attention in my French and German classes at school and unfortunately my native tongue is restricted to a few basic Spanish words picked up whilst on holiday in sunnier climes!

It is a great service though and we have already had a number of different nationalities calling us and taking advantage of this service. It has proved to be especially re-assuring for contractors who have only just settled into the country and are looking for some expert tax advice, especially if they are new to contracting.

As for me, I’m afraid I am still only able to offer the Queen’s English and the only way I will be able to provide Tarpon with its 10th language offering would be if “Double Dutch” suddenly becomes an accepted form of communication.

I would not hesitate to recommend Tarpon to any fellow locum workers.

My business manager, Steve, is always hard-working and enthusiastic. Nothing is too much trouble for him. If he says he will do something, it is done - quite unusual these days!
